STORY:

Russell Wilson, who spent his first 10 years in the NFL in Seattle, will lead his new team, Denver, into a highly anticipated Monday night matchup in Seattle.

Wilson had a no-trade clause as part of the four-year, $140 million extension he signed in Seattle in 2019. He knew he would have some say in where he ultimately ended up if a trade did indeed go through.

So, Wilson and his team vetted more than a dozen franchises and cities as destinations.

At the end of the process, Denver was the destination.

Artist note: Careful examination of the creative reveals black dots that symbolize and mark where the fingerprint and hand of the player would have been when the iconic play was made.
